Practice Type: Hospital
Details:
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8/10-hour day shifts.
  • Setting: Work in diverse settings including Inpatient, Outpatient, and surgery centers.
  • Supervision: Work under the supervision of MDs
  • Case Mix: ENDO, ORTHO, Vascular, OB, Neuro, General Surg, Spine, Cardiac (No PEDs)
  • Operating Rooms: 12 in the main hospital; 5 surgery centers; 4 GI
  • Trauma Level: Not designated, but close to Level II or III
  • MD to CRNA Coverage Ratio: Work in a supportive environment with a ratio of 1 MD to 3 or 4 CRNAs.
  • Competency: Skilled in spinal, epidural, and occasional regional blocks. No cardiac cases
  • Average Volume/Acuity: Covers all specialties except transplant. Level 3 trauma cases handled
  • Rotation and Coverage: Varied based on assignment. Surgery centers handle sports medicine, gynecology, urology, and ophthalmology cases.
  • Anesthesia Model: Care team approach

Certifications and Licenses Required:
  • Active CT license
  • Board Certified
  • ACLS, BLS
  • Experience with EPIC EMR/EHR system
